Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license and certification
  • Experience with pediatric populations in schools strongly preferred
  • Comfortable providing therapy to a range of age groups, from Pre K through Grades 12
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to support diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech, language, and communication abilities of students across Pre K, elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on student IEP goals
  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy, both individually and in group settings
  • Consult with teachers and parents, providing strategies to facilitate communication and support learning
  • Maintain clear, accurate progress notes and collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Participate actively in IEP development, evaluations, and progress reporting
