Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric therapy, especially within school settings
- Skilled in developing and adjusting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Comfortable serving learners from early childhood through high school
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Positive, flexible attitude and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among a variety of age groups
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote optimal learning and communication outcomes
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and group sessions using evidence-based practices
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and support the transition of students across grade levels
- Educate families and staff on strategies to reinforce speech and language goals
