A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Modesto, CA, serving a diverse student population across multiple school sites. This contract role is ideal for experienced SLPs holding a valid California license and seeking the opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 8th grade in a structured educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an average caseload of approximately 55 students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Provide assessment, RTI services, and individualized therapy per student IEPs.
- Deliver services through various formats including pull-out, push-in, and consultation.
- Support students in a range of programs including Autism SDC, SDC ESN (Moderate/Severe), SDC MMSN (Moderate/Severe), Preformal classes, and Preschool Intake.
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive student support planning.
- Work across two school sites as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of California.
- Proven experience working with school-age children, preferably within educational settings.
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, individualized programming, and therapy delivery.
- Ability to coordinate care across multiple sites and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to timely communication and decision-making during the hiring process.
Location: Modesto, California
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start with assignment through the end of the school year
