What Were Looking For:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license for Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- PROMPT certification is a must for this assignment
- Previous experience in a school-based or educational environment preferred
- Skilled at working independently and collaborating with IEP team members
- Strong documentation, progress monitoring, and communication abilities
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services one-on-one for a high school student, 45 minutes per week
- Coordinate with other professionals and family to develop and execute IEP goals
- Customize therapy approaches and materials in line with current best practices and students needs
- Maintain thorough records of progress, sessions, and required documentation according to district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to drive the best outcomes
