Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Kansas
- Prior pediatric experience, especially in school settings, is highly desirable
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent communication skills with children and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students academic and social-emotional growth
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and guidance in speech-language development
- Provide engaging direct therapy sessions, both group and one-on-one
- Adapt strategies and interventions to each childs unique needs and strengths
