Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Kansas
  • Prior pediatric experience, especially in school settings, is highly desirable
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Excellent communication skills with children and interdisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students academic and social-emotional growth
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and guidance in speech-language development
  • Provide engaging direct therapy sessions, both group and one-on-one
  • Adapt strategies and interventions to each childs unique needs and strengths
