Step into an impactful contract opportunity serving students from PreK through 8th grade as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. Your expertise in pediatrics, communication disorders, and school-based services will be valued as you contribute to a dynamic educational environment. The assignment runs from August through May, aligning with the traditional academic calendar, and youll enjoy a full-time schedule for the entirety of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC licensure and appropriate state credentials
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school environments
- Proficiency in evaluation and treatment of a variety of communication disorders
- Enthusiasm for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commitment to fostering student success and engagement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students (PreK8)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the formulation of educational strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Document clinical activities and maintain compliance with school and state standards
