Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically within school settings
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention for K-12 students
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapeutic services to students, as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student achievement
  • Maintain required documentation and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with school and federal guidelines
  • Provide education and resources to school personnel and caregivers to enhance student support
  • Adapt services to diverse needs across elementary, middle, and high school age groups

  • Full-time position: 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday
