Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to consult effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure progress
- Deliver therapy services one-on-one and in small group settings, targeting receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student success
- Serve as a valuable resource for faculty and families, offering strategies to support students ongoing growth
