Qualifications and Education:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in grades K-5
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Manage case documentation, including maintaining records in alignment with school and licensure standards
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing communication goals
- Provide support, consultation, and training to school staff regarding communication disorders
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
