Job Description

A Pennsylvania licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized services for K-2nd grade students at an elementary school in central Pennsylvania. This contractual position will span from January 2026 through June 2026, offering a valuable opportunity to support young learners during the critical early years of academic and communication development.

The role involves delivering speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, focusing on effective intervention and individualized care. Candidates with SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred, but those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply, as onsite supervision by a licensed SLP will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-2 students.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate with parents regarding student development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Pennsylvania state license for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • CFY candidates considered with supervision available onsite.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-2nd grade) advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Approximately 32.5 hours per week.
  • Based at an elementary school located in central Pennsylvania.
