This opportunity is for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide critical support to middle school students in a thriving educational environment located in Tiverton, RI. The position is a full-time contract role, requiring 37.5 hours per week across five days, positioned to make a meaningful impact in the academic and social growth of children.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Rhode Island.
• Relevant experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably with middle school-aged children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an educational team environment.
• Credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience are advantageous.
