Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to work 1-2 days per week, providing vital therapy and assessment services to PreK-8th grade students. Youll support a manageable caseload of 15-21 students in a collaborative environment, shaping communication outcomes that have a lasting impact.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Valid Professional Educators License
- Experience with pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping young learners
- Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for PreK-8th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain organized documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Use evidence-based practices to deliver therapy in both individual and small-group settings
