Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. This contract position is designed for supportive professionals seeking to make a genuine difference in young lives. Youll collaborate with another dedicated educator, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and share a welcoming office setting with the case manager.

Managing a mild-to-moderate caseload focused primarily on 6th grade and younger, youll serve 14 students with active IEPs and consult with an additional 9, covering a range from kindergarten through 9th grade. Utilize your knowledge of Embrace IEP software to document progress and therapies seamlessly.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Bilingual proficiency
  • Experience in educational and pediatric settings preferred
  • Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants
  • Comfort working with children on IEPs and in consultative relationships
  • Familiarity with Embrace or enthusiasm for learning new IEP software

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEPs
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and with family members
  • Maintain consistent and accurate records using Embrace
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment for students with speech and language needs
