Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This rewarding role is based near Timmonsville, SC, and covers multiple school sites. You'll deliver vital services throughout the upcoming school year, from July 28, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday.
Ideal candidates bring solid experience as a school-based SLP, skillfully balancing direct therapy with comprehensive evaluations. Your expertise will be valued as you craft individualized education plans (IEPs) and methodically collect student progress data, making a genuine difference for students at various stages in their educational journey.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP license or eligibility for state certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior school-based experience with elementary, middle, and high school students preferred
- Proficient in conducting therapy sessions, evaluations, and documentation
- Skilled in writing IEPs and managing caseloads across multiple school sites
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to a diverse student population
- Perform thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Write and update IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
