Make an impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) across two vibrant schools serving K-5th grade. In this full-time, contract opportunity, youll work closely with educators, families, and other specialists to help children find their voice and succeed academically and socially. With a varied caseload of over 35 students, youll be instrumental in developing communication skills that set the foundation for lifelong learning.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Hold a current, valid New Mexico SLP license (must be in hand at the time of applicationno pending or provisional licensure accepted).
- Possess a valid PED credential (required upon application).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Demonstrated proficiency working with K5 students in a school setting.
- Ability to design and implement individualized and group therapy plans.
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and school teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students communication skills and determine eligibility for speech-language services.
- Develop, implement, and track IEP goals for students within your caseload.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to elementary school students.
- Partner with general and special education teams for comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of evaluations, progress, and communications.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise for student success.
