This onsite, contract opportunity offers an immersive experience working with young learners alongside a dedicated educational team. Your expertise will help students develop essential communication skills that pave the way for lifelong success.
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Wisconsin
- DPI certification
- Previous experience in a professional school environment
- Proficiency working with pediatric populations
- Commitment to best practices in assessment and intervention
- Strong skills in collaboration and communication with educators and families
- Comfort supporting students with a range of communication challenges
What Youll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Deliver therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and materials
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
