Job Description

A travel opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving elementary school students in Thousand Oaks, CA for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services within an educational setting, supporting students with diverse communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide therapy focusing on pediatric speech and language development

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP Licensure and California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations and schools strongly desired
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school teams

Position Details:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Onsite role in Thousand Oaks, California
  • Travel assignment to this location during the school year
