Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) and CA CTC required
- Strong background in school-based speech-language services
- SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
- Experience or passion for supporting pediatric populations in educational settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement intervention plans tailored for elementary students
- Compassionate communication and collaboration skills for working with children, families, and educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for students in grades K-5
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and education plans
- Conduct thorough evaluations and document progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and support staff
- Support IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for holistic student growth
- Maintain up-to-date records and participate in ongoing professional development
