Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Current California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CA CTC) certification
- Expertise in school-based SLP services, including experience with pediatric populations
- Open to candidates with CCC or CFY
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in both healthcare and educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted intervention strategies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate case records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Offer guidance and education to school staff on strategies and accommodations for students with communication needs
