Job Description
Make a positive difference in the lives of children by supporting the communication needs of students from PreK through 12th grade. This contract opportunity, based near Thousand Oaks, CA, is ideal for professionals who excel in both in-person and teletherapy environments. With three roles available, youll have the chance to collaborate with other passionate SLPs and impact a diverse student population.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Current California SLP license or CA CTC required
- Appropriate SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
- Exposure to pediatric and healthcare-related SLP practice beneficial
- Comfort and skill with teletherapy services preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to PreK12 students, supporting communication goals
- Manage a diverse caseload, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other support professionals to maximize student progress
- Complete all documentation and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Utilize both onsite and virtual tools to enrich the therapeutic experience
