Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for dedicated professionals interested in serving diverse student populations across multiple schools in the Denver area. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students from elementary through high school levels, with assignments spread across several schools including Eagleview Elementary, Westview Elementary, Hillcrest Elementary, Stem Launch K-8, and Northglenn High School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students on a leave of absence coverage basis.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication intervention plans.
  • Assess student progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
  • Serve full-time caseloads, offering support from early childhood through adolescent age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification for SLP.
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates; experience preferred but not required.
  • Not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.

Location & Schedule:

  • This is an on-site position located in Thornton, Colorado, with schools within the Denver metropolitan area.
  • Full-time employment, with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
  • Contract duration varies based on leave coverage needs, ranging from early August through mid-November depending on assignment.
