Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an intensive Pre-School classroom. Based at a single elementary school, this on-site role focuses on helping children reach crucial developmental milestones within a collaborative school environment.
What Were Looking For:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and valid Colorado Department of Education certification are required.
- SLP-CCC credentials are highly preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) will also be considered.
- Experience or training working with English Language Learners, or possessing an ESL or Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement, will set you apart.
- Previous school-based experience and proficiency with IEP documentation, assessments, progress monitoring, and service delivery in a preschool setting are essential.
- Knowledge of supervising SLP Assistants is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, goal-driven speech and language therapy to preschool-aged students within an intensive classroom setting.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, contribute to the IEP process, and monitor student progress toward individualized objectives.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize student growth and participation.
- Support and guide SLPAs as needed, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
- Ensure accurate documentation and effective communication with all stakeholders.
This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) begins in late spring 2026 and runs the full school year, immersing you in a single campus community where your efforts deeply impact early learners.
