What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license or eligibility in North Dakota
- Prior experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of best practices in assessment, therapy, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt strategies for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions both individually and in groups
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
- Stay current on best practices and state/federal guidelines for school-based SLP services
