Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) working onsite in an educational setting near Napoleonville, LA. This position runs from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027, for a full 37.5-hour workweek during the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Louisiana SLP license
  • Louisiana teaching certificate required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior school-based experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse student populations

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services onsite within a school environment
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for assigned students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on thorough student evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and goals
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with state and school district policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive educational atmosphere
