Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist on a part-time, contract basis. You'll work with PreK through 3rd-grade students, including a head start class, helping to foster growth in communication skills and boost academic success. Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license for Louisiana and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
• Knowledge of school-based caseloads, IEP processes, and therapy best practices
• Ability to engage young children and collaborate effectively with teachers and families
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services for PreK3rd grade students per their IEPs
• Conduct assessments, generate reports, and help develop IEP goals
• Collaborate with staff and participate in paid team meetings and professional activities as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and progress monitoring
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
