Job Description

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license required (CCC strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Familiarity with evaluation, assessment, and IEP processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for supporting student growth and advocating for their needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, parents, and other professionals to ensure supportive and effective learning environments
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and school-based team discussions
