Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid CA SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students referred for speech and language services, conducting comprehensive assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each students educational goals
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and progress notes as required by school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to plan and goal development
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to enhance student communication and learning
