Step into a dynamic educational setting and provide expert speech and language services as a Speech Language Pathologist or SLPA for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract role serves a diverse caseload of elementary and secondary students, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across multiple age groups while collaborating within a supportive school team.
Your week will offer a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours, lending consistency to the students you serve. Leverage your expertise to help children develop vital communication skills, supporting both their academic achievements and everyday interactions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Washington Speech Language Pathologist license, with ESA certification
- CCC, CFY, or SLPA credentials welcomed
- Experience working with pediatric populations or within school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and special education teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate recommendations clearly to caregivers and staff
