Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students in a school setting near Tenino, WA for the upcoming academic year. Openings include a variety of roles across K-12, with multiple 37.5-hour-per-week assignments available. Whether your passion is working with elementary students, guiding developmental preschoolers (ages 3-5), or supporting secondary learners across two buildings (grades 7-12), theres a caseload to fit your expertise and interest. Caseloads average about 60 students, ensuring a manageable and impactful workload.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid WA SLP license and ESA credential
- Familiarity with school-based services across K-12 settings
- Experience with a range of communication disorders and therapy techniques
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering student growth and collaborating with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and assessment to students according to their IEPs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support each students progress
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to the student support team
- Engage in ongoing professional development as required by the setting
