This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting near Hemet, CA. The role involves working onsite during standard school hours, engaging with students from kindergarten through 12th grade to support their speech and language development.
Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders among a diverse student population. The position requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective therapy interventions tailored to each student's needs.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California
- Professional experience working in school settings
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language pathology
- Expertise in delivering teletherapy services is a plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
This position offers a consistent schedule with 7.5-hour workdays that include a half-hour unpaid lunch, providing work-life balance. The caseload primarily comprises students from kindergarten to 12th grade, allowing for varied and rewarding clinical experiences.
