This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatric and school settings. Located in Temecula, CA, this contract position allows you to apply your skills in a dynamic educational environment, providing essential speech and language support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children within the school system.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in compliance with school and legal standards.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and provide recommendations for accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligibility or current licensure as an SLP in California.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and multidisciplinary teams.
