A Speech-Language Pathology opportunity is available in Wilton, ME, offering a contract position within a school setting. This role supports pediatric populations through teletherapy and on-site services, utilizing expertise across school-based and healthcare environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech therapy services to students as per individualized education plans
- Conducting evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation in compliance with school requirements
- Participating in team meetings and collaborating with educators and families
- Supporting clinical fellowship year (CFY) therapists and assisting in supervision as needed
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms to provide remote speech-language services when applicable
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Maine SLP license required
- Experience with pediatric speech therapy in school or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery and techniques
- Ability to work full-time or part-time with a flexible schedule to meet caseload demands
- Experience with clinical fellowship year (CFY) or supervising SLPAs a plus
- Capable of managing caseload/workload models within an educational environment
This position is itinerant, with possible paid travel between locations. Indirect hours for administrative duties and participation in team meetings are part of the workload. The employing school district utilizes an IEP system and provides necessary training and dedicated therapy spaces.
Interviews will be conducted virtually or on-site, with a prompt decision-making process to facilitate urgent hiring needs. Fingerprinting and credential verification are required prior to starting.
