A contract opportunity is available for a speech-language pathologist specializing in telespeech services within educational settings. This position involves providing speech therapy support primarily to students across various grade levels, ranging from kindergarten through high school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering remote speech and language therapy to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings, covering grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
- Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders via telepractice platforms.
- Designing individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each student.
- Collaborating with educators and families to track progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a speech-language pathologist, with credentials supporting telespeech services.
- Experience working with children spanning early childhood through adolescence in academic environments.
- Proficiency in teletherapy technologies and virtual communication tools to effectively deliver services remotely.
- Strong assessment, therapeutic, and communication skills to engage students and support educational outcomes.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently while adhering to contractual commitments.
Location: Waterford, MI (remote telespeech service delivery).
