A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. The assignment involves providing remote speech therapy support to students from various grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12).

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized speech and language therapy sessions via telepractice platforms to students across assigned grade levels.
• Conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and documenting progress in accordance with educational and professional standards.
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities.
• Maintaining compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines throughout the teletherapy process.
• Participating in meetings and consultations as needed to support student development.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification appropriate for school-based practice.
• Proven experience providing speech-language services to school-aged children, with a focus on telespeech methodologies preferred.
• Strong understanding of communication disorders, assessment tools, and individualized education program (IEP) development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, families, and educational teams remotely.
• Familiarity with telepractice technology platforms and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
