Job Description

A part-time role is available for a Virtual School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to provide teletherapy services to K-12 students with disabilities in a special education setting. This contract position offers approximately 21 hours per week over three days, with assignment dates extending tentatively through mid-June 2026, following the typical school calendar.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions via teletherapy, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and meetings, completing student evaluations and progress monitoring, and maintaining documentation that complies with state and federal regulations. Experience in a virtual school environment is essential to effectively support students needs remotely.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Active Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) credential
  • Minimum of one year providing school-based virtual/teletherapy SLP services within Pennsylvania
  • Proven ability to deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with special education standards
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and regulatory documentation requirements

The role demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in virtual service delivery platforms to ensure consistent and effective therapy sessions.
