Job Description
A specialized role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telespeech services across various educational levels, including elementary, middle, and high school settings. This contract position focuses on delivering remote speech and language therapy tailored to students' developmental and academic needs, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments via telespeech platforms.
- Developing individualized therapy plans targeting communication disorders.
- Implementing targeted interventions to improve speech, language, and auditory processing skills.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with confidentiality standards.
- Adapting therapy techniques to suit remote delivery while ensuring engagement and effectiveness.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Licensed or certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
- Proficiency in telespeech technology and virtual communication tools.
- Experience working with school-age children, particularly grades K-12.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
- Ability to manage workload independently within a remote setting.
- Effective communication skills to engage students and collaborate with school staff.
Location: Saint Paul, MN (telepractice-based services for local school districts).
