A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide telespeech services across multiple grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). This role focuses on delivering remote speech-language therapy to support students' communication development within a school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telespeech evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to each student's individual needs.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to create and implement effective communication goals.
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies.
- Utilizing telepractice technology to engage students and deliver high-quality interventions.
- Adapting therapy techniques to suit virtual delivery and diverse student populations.
Required qualifications or desired experience:
- Licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience providing telespeech services in educational settings.
- Ability to work with students ranging from kindergarten through high school.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents.
