Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a speech-language pathologist specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students across various grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12).
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments via telepractice technology
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports compliant with educational standards
- Utilizing effective teletherapy techniques to engage students and facilitate improvement in speech and language skills
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid SLP licensure as required by the state of Minnesota
- Experience providing telespeech services in school-based settings
- Ability to work effectively with students across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to virtual therapy sessions
- Familiarity with telepractice platforms and educational protocols
