Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy services in a school setting, serving students in grades 6-12. This position involves approximately 10 hours per week, focusing primarily on language development and articulation goals.

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver teletherapy services to students with speech and language needs, emphasizing language and articulation therapy.
  • Manage caseload assignments following the districts caseload model.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support individual education program (IEP) goals.
  • Document student progress and participate in required meetings related to student services.
  • Utilize designated therapy platforms and systems as provided by the district.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience conducting teletherapy or telespeech sessions within school environments.
  • Familiarity with servicing students in middle and high school grade levels.
  • Ability to work independently with effective time management and communication skills.
  • Prior experience with IEP documentation and school-based therapy preferred.

Additional Information:

  • This is an itinerant position with flexibility in travel as needed across assigned schools.
  • Direct supervision and support offered by the school district.
  • Indirect hours and participation in team meetings may be required.

This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year. Detailed orientation and resources will be provided to enable effective service delivery.
