Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in teletherapy and school-based services is sought to provide targeted support to students in grades 6 through 12. This contract position covers a 10-hour weekly commitment, offering intervention primarily focused on language and articulation challenges.

Location: Saint Paul, MN
Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week
Contract Duration: School Year (January 7, 2025, through end of school year)
Service Delivery: Itinerant with paid travel between assigned schools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services emphasizing language development and articulation to middle and high school students.
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques to enhance accessibility and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the districts IEP system, with training provided as needed.
  • Participate in paid team meetings and indirect hours dedicated to administrative duties.
  • Work within caseload limits established by the district to ensure quality of care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy in school settings, including teletherapy services.
  • Knowledge of language and articulation disorders common in adolescent populations.
  • Ability to work independently with itinerant scheduling and manage travel between schools.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and compliance procedures.
