An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services within a school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position involves delivering speech-language support to students in grades 6 through 12, focusing primarily on language development and articulation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy speech-language services to students remotely, conducting assessments and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Support students with language and articulation disorders through evidence-based therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience delivering teletherapy and telespeech services in educational settings.
- Familiarity with caseload models and ability to manage an itinerant schedule.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students grades 6-12.
- Knowledge of language and articulation disorders commonly encountered in adolescent populations.
Location and Hours:
- Position is based in Saint Paul, MN.
- Contract role offering approximately 10 hours per week.
- Itinerant caseload with potential paid travel.
Additional Information:
- The district uses a caseload model for workload management.
- Indirect and administrative hours along with paid team meetings may be included.
- Supervision details to be coordinated as per district requirements.
