A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting located in Rockville, MD. This role supports virtual school-based speech therapy services across the Washington DC area, serving students from elementary through peak middle school caseloads.
Assignment Details:
- Position Duration: August 25, 2026 June 11, 2027
- Weekly Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (no part-time options)
- Caseload: Elementary up to 40 students; middle school caseloads may peak at 57 students, based on the candidates experience and location
- Scheduling and specific caseload assignments will be discussed individually with supervisors
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech Language Pathology license required
- Minimum of 3 years of post-COVID virtual school-based speech therapy experience
- Must reside in Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone for eligibility
- Background check compliant with House Bill requirements
- Submission of resume, images of license, and references mandatory prior to engagement
Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech and language services adhering to virtual school program guidelines
- Manage caseload effectively while adapting to varying student needs and educational levels
- Collaborate with supervisors to tailor assignments based on individual skill sets and experience
- Maintain all required documentation and comply with credentialing requirements
