A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services, supporting a range of grade levels from elementary through high school. This role emphasizes delivering remote speech therapy to students in need, utilizing telepractice to enhance student communication skills across various developmental stages.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations via telepractice.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique needs.
- Providing direct speech therapy services remotely to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, including elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of services, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in school settings, preferably with telespeech or telepractice.
- Familiarity with working with students across multiple grade levels, including K-5, grades 6-8, and 9-12.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt treatment approaches to the virtual environment effectively.
Location:
- Remote services with students located in the Rio Rancho, NM area.
