A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized services to a homebound student within their residence during the 20262027 school year. The position requires 1.5 hours per week, divided into two sessions, and is based onsite in Providence, RI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services in a home-based setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the student's communication needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educational and healthcare professionals to support student outcomes
- Adhere to health and safety protocols when working with a medically vulnerable individual
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathology license is mandatory
- Experience working in schools, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy settings is advantageous
- Ability to provide services in a home-based environment
- Familiarity with telepractice methodologies (teletherapy, telespeech) is a plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and caregivers
