Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. The role involves supporting students across multiple grade levels, including elementary (K5), middle (68), and high school (912), providing therapy and assessments via remote platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using telespeech technology.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to pupil needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with educational guidelines.
  • Adapt communication strategies to fit virtual learning environments effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential or license appropriate for school settings.
  • Proven experience delivering telespeech services, especially within elementary, middle, and high school populations.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development for grades K12.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students remotely.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and complete timely documentation.
