A part-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and school-based services. This role involves delivering speech-language therapy to a homebound student in the student's residence during the 20262027 school year. The position requires providing teletherapy and onsite care, emphasizing support for medically vulnerable individuals.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to the student's needs.
- Utilizing teletherapy and in-person techniques to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers and educators to support student progress.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of therapy goals and outcomes.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols when working in a home-based environment.
Qualifications and experience:
- Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Experience or certification in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Proficiency in providing teletherapy and onsite services.
- Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy and healthcare settings.
- Ability to work with medically vulnerable and homebound students.
Location: Providence, RI
