Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide services within a school setting, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language needs. This position offers flexibility with options for onsite or remote work, accommodating various working preferences while addressing student caseloads effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for approximately 50 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to enhance communication skills and academic progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and report on student progress regularly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Speech Language Pathologist License (required for onsite work).
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience providing speech-language services in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of telepractice platforms and remote service delivery (for remote option).
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse student needs from K-12.
Schedule:
- Four days per week, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
Location:
- Position available in Oneonta, Alabama, with flexibility for remote work based on preference and eligibility.
