Job Description

Provide teletherapy speech-language pathology services within a school setting located in the New Orleans, LA area. This full-time contract assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, encompassing approximately 35 hours per week, with a 7-hour workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Specific school assignments and caseload details will be determined.

Responsibilities include delivering telepractice speech and language therapy to students, collaborating with educational staff, and maintaining compliance with district requirements. The role requires completion of district-specific credentialing forms for the human resources department.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with telespeech and teletherapy in school settings preferred

This contract is contingent upon renewal of the school boards agreement scheduled for review on June 3, 2026. Offers extending from this posting will reflect this condition.

Work location: Harvey, LA (New Orleans area)
