Job Description

A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position serving one school in Mountain View, CA, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves providing comprehensive speech therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred to better support a diverse student population.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language pathology services across a range of diagnoses and age groups in an educational setting
  • Conducting teletherapy sessions as needed to accommodate students in virtual learning environments
  • Collaborating with educators to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and tracking student progress
  • Providing assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech and language disorders
  • Participating in interdisciplinary meetings to support student outcomes

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within schools and healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with telepractice modalities for speech therapy services
  • Ability to work independently and adapt therapy techniques across diverse populations
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with relevant school or healthcare experience is a plus
