A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy services for students in grades 6-12. This role focuses on language and articulation therapy through telespeech platforms, supporting an itinerant caseload with approximately 10 hours per week. The opportunity is based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to students remotely using evidence-based practices.
- Address a variety of communication disorders, emphasizing language development and articulation improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes following district requirements.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support IEP goals related to speech and language.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with students' families and school personnel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in school-based teletherapy and telespeech service delivery.
- Familiarity with caseload management in a school setting.
- Ability to work independently within an itinerant model providing remote speech therapy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills tailored to student needs.
Additional Information:
- Position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year.
- Caseload is managed via a caseload cap model.
- Contract includes indirect hours for documentation and team collaboration.
- Supervision is provided as needed.
- District utilizes an IEP system with training provided.
- A dedicated workspace for therapy is arranged remotely.
