Job Description

A speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract spanning the current school year (CSY). The role requires 10 hours per week providing services primarily to students in grades 6-12, focusing on language development and articulation.

Location: Minneapolis, MN (serving St. Paul area schools)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students using caseload model
  • Address language and articulation goals in individual and group settings
  • Complete required documentation and progress notes in the districts IEP system
  • Participate in required meetings and collaborate with educational staff as needed
  • Travel to multiple school sites on an itinerant schedule; paid travel time provided

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience with teletherapy and school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Familiarity with caseload management within school settings
  • Ability to work with secondary level students (grades 6-12)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Additional Details:

  • Contract position with start date ASAP through end of school year
  • Indirect/administrative time and paid team meetings included
  • Dedicated therapy space available at schools
  • No supervision responsibilities required for this position
