Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech and teletherapy services within the educational setting. This role supports middle and high school students, delivering speech and language intervention through virtual and/or onsite formats.

Location:

  • Columbus, GA

Assignment Details:

  • Contract duration: August 3, 2026 May 21, 2027, with potential pre- and post-planning days
  • Full-time schedule: minimum 37.5 hours per week
  • Service delivery primarily covering middle and high school populations
  • Responsibility for organizing and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Preparation and maintenance of documentation for students progress and IEP compliance
  • Daily logging of therapy services rendered

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Georgia Educator Certification for SLPs
  • Demonstrated experience providing virtual speech therapy services in school environments
  • Ability to manage caseload scheduling and paperwork independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for working with students, families, and educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy tailored to student needs
  • Facilitate and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Adapt service delivery methods between in-person and virtual platforms as required
  • Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support student communication goals
