Job Description
A remote position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services for K-12 students. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering teletherapy and telespeech interventions, supporting educational goals across pediatric populations.
The successful candidate will hold a valid California SLP license and have experience working within school settings, including pediatric caseloads. Familiarity with telepractice methods is essential to ensure effective communication services are provided remotely. The role involves collaboration with educators and families to support speech and language development via virtual platforms.
Key qualifications and experience:
- California Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Proven expertise in school-based speech therapy services
- Strong background working with pediatric and K-12 age groups
- Proficiency in teletherapy and telespeech delivery methods
- Familiarity with educational assessment and individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting teletherapy sessions to address speech and language goals for K-12 students
- Collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy techniques as needed
- Maintaining clear and thorough documentation consistent with school and licensing requirements
