Job Description

A full-time speech-language pathologist opportunity is available at a school serving middle school students in Madison Heights, MI. This role involves providing direct speech and language therapy services to developmentally disabled students within a single school setting, focusing on teletherapy and traditional in-person support.

Key qualifications include:

  • Valid Michigan SLP license
  • Michigan teaching certificate with SB endorsement (Speech and Language Impairment)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience supporting developmentally disabled students is preferred

Responsibilities encompass:

  • Managing a caseload primarily consisting of middle school-aged students (around 26 in number)
  • Delivering individualized speech therapy services both in-person and via telepractice as needed
  • Collaborating with educational staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant documentation aligned with school policies and regulatory standards

This full-time contract position offers typical school hours from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. beginning as soon as possible through June 7, 2027.
